People think being organized is about being orderly, but having space matters more than any natural sense of order.
Casey’s eTip: Getting Organized Means Getting Present
The best way to make space (homes) for your current needs is to let go of the past and of past dreams of the future. Do old records or reference docs stay on your desk or computer desktop? Do wistful “nice to do” or “I wish I could be that person” tasks clutter your to-do lists? Delete (or deep archive) those items so you have room for your current life. It’s a tangible way to let go of the past and future and be fully present. And it gives you space to be organized.
