The Pareto Principle (aka the 80/20 Rule) encourages you to prioritize the 20% of activities that matter most, generating 80% of the results. In sales, for instance, that means finding, connecting with and closing prospects rather than doing reports, etc. But Pareto can be applied to different ratios. Perfectionists, for example, might spend 30% of their time on activities with only a 2% value. To change your ratio … let certain activities be good enough (a grade of B or even a C) so that you can strive for an A where it matters.
