The research about the biological reasons we need early morning light is well known. The recommendation is to get out as early as possible to expose your eyes to the sun’s rays, even (especially!) on cloudy days. (See this 6-minute Huberman Lab excerpt for details.)
Don’t just do it because you “should,” though. Do it for the benefits you’ll enjoy. Early morning sunlight helps you:
