Want to run (or participate in) more efficient meetings? Act on this idea…

Every item on the meeting agenda (yes–have an agenda!) should either be to solve a problem or make a decision. If an item doesn’t have one of those goals, it doesn’t belong. Send status updates electronically (e.g., email, slide deck) so people can absorb them at their own pace. Meetings will be shorter and more focused as a result.
