If that someone is a life partner who shares your interests and goals, then that’s great! But if your calendar reveals that you’re usually spending your time in reaction to others’ plans, with little room for your interests, it’s time to plan ahead. It takes less time than you might think to draft some ideas and plans so that they might compete with those that your partner, family and/or supervisor may have for you!
