Casey’s eTip: Plan Your To-Do’s on Your Calendar
Any task that takes an hour or more belongs at a specific time on your calendar. You can use the “all day” feature to schedule brief tasks so they appear at the top of the day’s events. (Using MS To-Do or Google Tasks with assigned dates accomplishes the same thing.) Leave room for the unexpected, though, so your day isn’t thrown off by the predictably unpredictable.

“There’s not enough room for everything,” you might say. You’re right. There never is. You may need to move some tasks to tomorrow or next week.Your calendar can help you be realistic about your expectations (to yourself and to others) regarding what you can do in a day.
