Casey’s eTip: Practice Joy Today
Being joyful is not a character trait. It is a daily habit anyone can develop. Consciously seeking awe in nature or a child’s face, finding things to be grateful for, reframing potentially negative experiences–these small acts of daily intentional focus create a life of joy. Research from the BIG JOY Project (involving over 70,000 participants in 200 countries) attests to positive impact of joy on sense of wellbeing and perceived ability to cope. Sure, you could work like a dog, amassing a fortune, believing it will make you happy. Or you could just practice being fulfilled right now. I recommend efficiency!
