Casey’s eTip: Separate Actions from Information
Mixing the living (actions you need to take) with the dead (information to reference later maybe) wastes time. Keep them separate, maybe with different apps. For example, MS To-Do, Asana and others focus on activities. OneNote, EverNote are great for storing information.
If you do mix the two, e.g., your meeting notes have info but also some tasks, make actions stand out with a symbol such as a checkbox, star, color (e.g., red or highlighted) or searchable code word (for OneNote or EverNote).
