Casey’s eTip: Update Your Passwords!
It takes some time to update old passwords, but a lot less time than recovering your stolen identity or money. Here are some tips for making strong passwords if you don’t use an app that manages them for you:
*Use 12 to 14 characters or more
*Combine uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
*Avoid using actual words or any kind of name (person, animal, product, etc.)
*Make your new password very different from previous (don’t just change one number)
*Consider creating a phrase that you can make variations of, e.g., M0nkeySe3&D0!$ (Monkey see & do)
