Almost everyone we encounter is going through something. They might be ill, chronically or temporarily. They might be grieving a recent loss or dealing with unresolved yet still troubling matters from their childhood. They may be in chronic pain or devoting countless hours to caring for others. If we knew this about them, we might be a little kinder or more gentle. So why not be that way just in case?
