Casey’s eTip: Pick a Task/Project Management Software that’s Right for You
You may be required to use your company’s software, e.g., MS Teams, for certain projects. But when it comes to your own work, which may not be so collaborative, here are some criteria to consider:
*Simplicity and visibility: You need to be able to see all your projects at a glance as well as dig into the depths of each with an interface that invites engagement, not overwhelm
*Integration with email: Your email inbox is where many projects and tasks arrive so connecting them with your project tracking software is useful
*Easy-to-use phone app: If you need to access your work while on the go, ensure that you find the phone app comfortable to use

Finally, know that most apps have the same features and that they all are usually more powerful than you may need. Pick one, try it out with a few projects and then make your decision. There is no perfect solution–just one that is good enough for what you need.
